Teacher Consultant/Specialist For Autism Spectrum Disorder
The Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD) is seeking a teacher consultant or specialist to provide services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The position involves providing teacher consultant/specialist services to school personnel responsible for educational services to students with ASD. The role includes providing instructional and evaluation services to students, consultation to classroom staff, participation in evaluation and planning teams, and coordination of program design and implementation.
The candidate must possess a Michigan teaching certificate with ASD endorsement, or appropriate licensure, and demonstrate expertise in autism characteristics and evidence-based strategies. The position requires proficiency in technology, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Regular attendance, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and a valid driver's license are also required. Wages are pro-rated, and the position is not eligible for benefits.
