- Develop, configure, and maintain HIL test benches for ECU validation
- Perform HIL testing for automotive ECUs (Powertrain, ADAS, Body, Chassis, or Infotainment)
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on system and software requirements
- Perform system commissioning, integration, and bring-up of ECUs on test benches and vehicles
- Debug hardware, software, and communication issues during testing and commissioning
- Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze test results
- Support fault injection, boundary testing, and regression testing
- Work closely with system, software, and calibration teams to resolve issues
- Document test results, defects, and validation reports
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and quality processes
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering
- Strong experience with HIL systems (dSPACE, NI, Vector, ETAS, or similar)
- Hands-on experience in ECU commissioning and integration
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet
- Experience with test automation tools (Python, CAPL, MATLAB/Simulink, Test Stand, Control Desk, CANoe)
- Good understanding of ECU architecture, sensors, and actuators
- Experience in debugging hardware and software issues
