Position Overview
The CAD Drafter will be responsible for reviewing incoming project requests from sales representatives, verifying documentation, and creating precise technical drawings based on project specifications. This role involves working with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works to develop accurate layouts, match drawings to quotes, and ensure all details meet company and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review incoming project requests through the company portal and determine project scope
+ Prioritize and begin work on new projects in the queue
+ Verify CAD documents and ensure alignment with associated quotes
+ Create accurate and detailed drawings based on project requirements
+ Utilize AutoCAD and/or Solid Works to produce mechanical and layout drawings
+ Maintain high attention to detail and consistency across all work
Required Qualifications
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred) or Solid Works
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Ability to interpret specifications and technical documentation
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
