Salary

$90,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop design ideas using AutoCAD 3D, considering the client’s requirements and the project’s potential environmental impacts.
  • Ensure that all designs are robust, efficient, and meet the highest standards of safety and sustainability.
  • Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
  • Work on erosion control, ensuring that the environmental impact of our projects is minimized.
  • Develop detailed designs for site development, including drainage and shoring.
  • Prepare reports, designs, and drawings, making complex engineering concepts and procedures understandable for clients and non-engineering professionals.
  • Liaise with other professionals, including architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor the progress of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that structures are built according to the design and specification.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering developments and innovations, applying this knowledge to your work.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on site development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is essential.
  • Strong understanding of erosion control, shoring, and drainage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear and understandable way.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality projects.
