Position: Electronic Lab Technician I

Create, wire, solder, and assemble test control panels per schematic and drawing definition.
Troubleshoot equipment for testing of electro-mechanical actuator during development, qualification, and production phases.
Create test setups and execute per defined plans and procedures. Testing includes mechanical, electrical, and environmental testing.
Responsible for instrumenting and conducting tests on circuit boards
Utilize different types of test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies.
Troubleshoot an electrical issue without the use of schematics or clear information
Comply with Eaton's high expectations for a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in an engineering related field or 3+ years of applicable experience.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

Soldering capabilities
Experience executing test plans and procedures.
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience
Electronics repair and troubleshooting preferred.
