Network Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking three Network Engineers to support critical infrastructure initiatives across the environments as part of the broader One Epic program. The roles provide engineering backfill and project support for hardware refreshes, SDWAN rollouts, and network stability across multiple sites.

• Provide engineering backfill and project support for existing architects and network engineers
• Support network hardware refresh initiatives, including:
  • Switch refreshes across sites
  • Distribution refresh across 12 locations
  • Chassis refresh at West
• Assist with SDWAN rollouts across Sparrow and West environments
• Perform hands‑on work with Cisco network infrastructure, including access, distribution, and chassis‑based switches
• Support firewall platforms (Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower) depending on assignment
• Work onsite at Sparrow and/or West, with flexibility to assist across environments as needed
• Follow standard equipment configurations and operational practices (no deep architecture design required)

• Network engineering proficiency, Cisco switches, firewalls, Cisco routers, troubleshooting, and switches
• Intermediate level experience
• Ability to work onsite in Grand Rapids, MI and at Sparrow/West
• Comfortable with SDWAN and firewall platforms
• Experience with network hardware refresh initiatives

Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay range: $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
