Engineering Data Analyst
Engineering Data Analyst will support the development of configurable product models by utilizing engineering drawings and bills of materials. The role involves inputting characteristics and their values into Teamcenter and managing configuration rules across various product lines.
Responsibilities- Create and manage configuration rules, characteristics, and values across numerous product lines.
- Build comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) that include every possible product option and variation, applying rules to each line item for automated selection by internal teams.
- Support Research & Development and Product Engineering in defining and scaling configuration processes.
- Maintain Teamcenter with up-to-date configuration data and product structures.
- Assist in developing and standardizing configuration processes by 'chunking' products into reusable rule sets.
- Create and define product characteristics such as side channel length and corresponding values like 8ft, 10ft, and 12ft.

Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in PLM Configuration Management
- Experience in ERP, specifically in Bill of Material Creation
- Proficiency in SAP
- Proficiency in Teamcenter
The work environment offers a flexible start time between 7-8 am, with a standard 40-hour workweek. Employees enjoy 2 weeks of PTO and 6 paid holidays annually.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
