FPGA Engineer - Acron Aviation

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and verify FPGA logic for safety‑critical avionics surveillance applications.
• Create and maintain VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog code, IP cores, and reusable design libraries.
• Perform timing closure, static timing analysis, and power optimization using Xilinx and Intel (Altera) tool chains.
• Integrate FPGA designs with embedded C software, ensuring seamless hardware‑software co‑design.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, conduct design reviews, and support certification processes.

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of FPGA development experience.
• Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog/System Verilog, and hands‑on experience with Xilinx and Intel FPGA platforms.
• Strong knowledge of digital design concepts, timing analysis, and signal integrity.
• Experience with hardware verification tools (e.g., Model Sim, Vivado, Quartus) and scripting languages for automation.
• Ability to work in a regulated aerospace environment and support documentation for certification.
