F&V is a highly successful, growth-oriented civil and environmental engineering/architectural firm that provides a wide range of services to municipal, industrial, institutional, commercial, and private development clients throughout Michigan and Indiana.
We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager – Site Development in our Grand Rapids office who supports our clients, co-workers and core principles – “understand our customers and satisfy their needs, do what we say we are going to do and have fun.”

Responsibilities- Work with both public and private entities in the development & enhancement of new or existing facilities including site developments including commercial, institutional, multi-family housing, streetscapes, community recreation; plus, other public and private projects.
- Manage preliminary and final design and construction phase services for municipal and private projects.
- Supervise and develop project team members, including goal setting, problem solving, coaching, and career guidance.
- Perform technical analysis and documentation.
- Determine and monitor project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Identify funding source opportunities and assist clients to receive funding.
- Develop and manage client relationships, and coordinate pursuits with Business Development team, including cross selling the firm’s capabilities as a provider of Design, Build, Operate services.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and MI PE registration
- 15+ years of related land or site development engineering experience
- Experience in client management, preparing and meeting budgets and schedules
- Experience in relationship development and proposal preparation
- Knowledgeable in municipal, township and county government practices and regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
