Configurations Engineer

The Configurations Engineer is responsible to generate BOMs, BOM change notices and help control customer TDPs (Technical Data Packages).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates and generates of Bills of Material (BOM) from customer supplied parts list and print packages on solicitations and jobs(work orders) Manages and controls organized filing system for all print packages, properly stores and archives all electronic documents on network server Prioritizes and incorporates customer(both internal and external) changes related BOM change requests Monitors and initiates the BOM change notification processing Manage and maintain catalog index of purchased external specifications Fulfills requests related to document distribution Any other task assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design Engineering, business, manufacturing technology, accounting or IS, preferred Minimum 2 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings Ability to utilize rule-based logic to convert parts lists to BOMs Strong mathematical skills Strong analytical skills Strong attention to detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to determine priorities and provide direction to fellow team members Excellent organizational and planning skills About our Company Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is an industry leader in providing high-reliability electronic systems for Aerospace and Defense companies across the globe.
