We re seeking an experienced Controls Engineering II – Software professional to develop and commission advanced automation and packaging systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex automation challenges, leading software development efforts, and working directly with customers to deliver high-performing solutions.
What You ll Do- Develop and program PLC, HMI, servo, drive, and robotic control systems
- Lead controls software development through project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and technical teams
- Support onsite startup, commissioning, and system optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Drive continuous improvement and technical innovation
- 5–9 years of controls software development experience
- Experience with high-speed packaging or material handling systems
- FANUC and/or KUKA robot programming experience
- Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and robotics
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Project ownership mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for innovation, customer success, and continuous improvement
