Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative project development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000

• Design and document projects and products to meet technical, quality, and regulatory standards
• Develop detailed design drawings and calculations using Solid Works
• Review project requirements and submit concepts for approval
• Create and manage Bills of Materials and sub-assembly drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and continuous improvement

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of machine design experience
• Proficiency with Solid Works software
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred
