Ultra-Wideband; Uwb) Engineer

Employment: Full-Time, Hybrid (4 Days in Office)

We are seeking an experienced UWB Engineer to join a global Tier 1 automotive supplier developing next-generation vehicle access and authorization systems
. This is a hands-on RF hardware engineering opportunity focused on UWB, BLE, NFC, antenna development, RF architecture, and automotive ECU design from concept through mass production.

• Design and optimize RF hardware for UWB, BLE, and NFC
• Develop RF architectures, front-end circuits, impedance matching, and antenna integration
• Design, simulate, tune, and validate antennas
• Perform RF testing using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers
• Support FCC, CE, Bluetooth SIG, and NFC compliance testing
• Troubleshoot RF, antenna, EMC, and wireless connectivity issues
• Design automotive ECU circuits including CAN, LIN, K-Line, UART, SPI, I²C, and microcontrollers
• Perform EMC, ESD, thermal, load dump, transient, and worst-case analysis
• Develop hardware for keyless entry, passive entry, TPMS, and immobilizer systems
• Support schematics, PCB layout, DFMEA, DVPR, and EMC documentation
• Collaborate with OEM customers and global engineering teams

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of electrical design, analysis, and evaluation experience
• Automotive industry experience required
• Experience with RF/LF circuits, wireless technologies, or automotive access systems
• Experience with microcontroller selection
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and ISO
  9141
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• C/C++ knowledge is a plus
• Experience with DFMEA, DVPR, EMC, or Six Sigma is a plus
• Willingness to travel to Germany approximately 2-3 times per year
