**** THE ROLE
** Ensuring smooth operation of VIP activations, such as early entries, VIP lounges, and other tour auxiliary activities. Greeting and assisting guests, checking tickets and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment. Distributing credentials and merchandise. Troubleshooting ticketing issues.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Enthusiastically greet guests and provide event and venue information.
* Escort guests to their VIP areas, frequently when the venue is busy.
* Ensure VIP package integrity is withheld, and general admission guests are not using activations.
* Proactively approach guests that may have a question, difficulty, or complaint.
* Creatively resolve guests' troubles up to the level where intervention by a supervisor is required.
* Set up and tear down VIP activations.
* Remain calm and direct guests to the designated area of safety in the event of an emergency.
* Remain calm in the presence of artists and touring personnel.
* Hours of work include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, meeting all call times as set by management.
* Other duties and unexpected needs as assigned by tour and venue management.

** Education and/or Experience
*** Must be 18 years of age or older.
* High School degree or equivalent is required.

* Skills and Abilities

*** Strong customer service skills.
* Experience in handling conflict in a friendly and effective manner.
* Ability to read and understand English.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.

** Van Andel Arena, Devos Performance Hall, Devos Place, Acrisure Amphitheater, Amway Stadium.
* Must be able to stand and walk for long periods at a time.
* Must be able to work outdoors.
