Member First Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-service-driven Specialized Loan Associate to support advanced mortgage servicing functions across multiple loan products. This role focuses on construction loans, HELOCs, loan modifications, balloon loans, recasts, and adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional member service.
In this role, you will manage complex servicing transactions, analyze loan documentation, and collaborate with internal teams, members, credit unions, and third-party partners. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong time management skills, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Construction Loan Servicing
Serve as the primary point of contact for construction loan servicing inquiries.
Review, approve, and disburse construction loan draw requests in accordance with approved budgets and amendments.
Order and track inspections, title updates/endorsements, lien waivers, and Certificates of Occupancy.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation for all draw activity and related communications.
Address member concerns professionally and elevate issues as needed.
Oversee servicing of loan modifications, including rate adjustments, re-amortizations, principal curtailments, and construction-related modifications.
Process balloon loan maturity notifications, payoff coordination, and related servicing steps.
Manage recast requests, including eligibility review, payment verification, recalculations, and updated amortization schedules.
Perform ARM servicing functions, including rate-change validation, notice generation, and system updates.
Communicate proactively with members and credit unions regarding timelines, requirements, and payment impacts.
Process Subordination Agreements and Partial Releases in compliance with internal policies.
Coordinate with title companies, credit unions, and borrowers to obtain required documentation.
Maintain accurate collateral records, including MERS updates and corrections.
Perform ongoing servicing of Home Equity Lines of Credit, including draw approvals and account maintenance.
Produce manual monthly statements when required and ensure accuracy of account information.
Provide guidance on draw availability, payment requirements, and account terms.
Provide backup support for the Escrow and Service Center Call Queue as needed.
Document all communications and servicing actions thoroughly in internal systems.
Assist with audits, quality reviews, and internal reporting.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in mortgage servicing, lending operations, or related financial services is required. Prior experience with construction loans, HELOCs, ARMs, balloon loans, or recasts is preferred.
EducationHigh school diploma or GED is required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
