Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

- Assist in creating financial reports and schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance requirements.

- Support the development and implementation of internal control policies to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during year-end audits and tax preparation processes.

- Contribute to the international consolidation of financial statements.

- Prepare and complete various tax filings, including income, sales, and property taxes.

- Develop tax provision schedules for both domestic and international entities.

- Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to enhance financial processes.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting procedures.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address financial matters.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proficiency in preparing journal entries and managing general ledger processes.

- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and budgets.

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.

- Familiarity with corporate tax regulations and filings.

- Effective collaboration skills to work across departments and with external partners.

- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
