Financial Analyst (Onsite – Grand Rapids, MI)
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Onsite in Grand Rapids, MI

Our client is a rapidly growing, multi-state organization operating multiple locations across states. The Financial Analyst will support operational and financial leadership by delivering timely reporting, variance analysis, and insights that help improve performance across operations. This role partners closely with district managers, regional leaders, and field operators to analyze results and recommend actionable improvements. Dress code:
Business casual — “dress for your day” (jeans allowed; no tennis shoes or flip flops; professional top required).

• Prepare and update weekly KPI reports for operational leadership

• Perform weekly and monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis and investigate key drivers

• Partner with district managers, field leaders, and regional managers to review results and identify improvement opportunities

• Conduct ad hoc financial and business analysis to support decision-making

• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial trends

• Experience with variance analysis or cost accounting

• Background in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit operations finance

• Experience with financial planning/reporting tools such as:

  • Power BI

  • Tableau

  • One Stream

  • Anaplan
