The Sales Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Rapids, MI. This role is responsible for structuring vehicle financing and leasing options, presenting terms clearly to customers, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing credit applications, coordinating with lenders, preparing contracts, and finalizing all finance and insurance documentation. The Sales Finance Manager collaborates closely with the sales team to support deal closure, optimize profitability, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
The role also involves analyzing sales and finance performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and contributing to business planning and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Finance and Finance skills to structure deals, evaluate credit profiles, and work effectively with lending partners.
- Candidates should possess Financial Planning and Business Planning skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimization at the dealership level.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risk, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Experience in automotive finance, F&I, or a related sales finance role is preferred, along with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and respectful manner.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems, finance software, and standard office applications.
- Ability to work on-site full time, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
