About this position:

The Senior Mortgage Processor role is responsible for processing conventional, government, construction and specialty mortgage applications. It involves obtaining and verifying the accuracy of documents needed to complete the mortgage process, calculating income, analyzing credit, and determining cash requirements.

What you’ll do:

Review initial underwriting decisions and prepare decision letters as appropriate, working directly with applicants to obtain outstanding items required by underwriting for a final approval.

Finalize the loan processing stage by preparing the loan for submission to the closing department.

Process all types of mortgage applications, reviewing credit reports, income and asset documentation to confirm that all documentation meets requirements to move forward with an underwriting decision.

Maintain a high level of communication with members, internal, and external partners, and consistently provide service excellence.

What you’ll bring:

One to three years of experience in processing mortgage applications.

Experience working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.

Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
