Sr. Analyst, Global Cost & Inventory Consolidations

Description Overview

The Senior Analyst supports the Global Cost and Inventory Consolidation team in delivering enterprise-wide costing and inventory reporting. Accountable for ongoing execution, maintenance, and value realization of the global costing solution within S/4

HANA Central Finance (CFIN).

• Maintain and support the global costing solution and mapping structures within S/4
  
  HANA Central Finance (CFIN) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment.
• Execute and coordinate global costing month-end close activities for timely, accurate results.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of global costing results; analyze and resolve variances.
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate elimination of intercompany sales and COGS.
• Collaborate to enhance data quality and promote consistency in global reporting.
• Develop and sustain product profitability reports and drive standardized reporting across CFIN and EDW.
• Support acquisition and divestiture activities within the global costing framework.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years progressive experience in a large corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting/auditing and publicly traded company control environment, including U.S. GAAP.
• SAP experience, with understanding of inventory and cost data structures/processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Foundational knowledge of SOX/internal controls.
• High attention to detail; capable of independent work and meeting deadlines.
• Process automation interest/desirable (scripting/task automation tools).
