Please note that this is a 100% on-site role located in our corporate office in Kentwood, MI, and requires availability on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Finance InternThe Finance Intern will be responsible for coordinating customer credit reporting and cash receipts. This position will report directly to the Credit Analyst and Controller and will be responsible for assisting with customer credit increases, onboarding new FWF customers, and executing department-based projects as assigned.
Responsibilities- Assist with customer credit increases
- Execute new customer entry
- Coordinate new customer onboarding, including information request tracking
- Maintain and enter daily cash receipts
- Execute department-based projects to assist in the passing of sales accounts
- Review FWF's credit via various reporting resources while expanding business relationships
- Assist the Credit Analyst with company credit reports
- Maintain accounting relationships with FWF clients
- Responsible for company reporting and analysis as assigned
- Communicate effectively across all departments
- Report all department needs and concerns efficiently
- Comprehensive exposure to corporate accounting and logistics problem-solving
- Daily, hands-on work experience and coaching from accounting professionals
- Ongoing support from team members and management
- $15 per hour
- Must be enrolled as a current finance, accounting, or economics student of sophomore - senior academic standing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Highly approachable with the ability to communicate to all team members
- Willing to explore techniques, strategies, and educational opportunities
