- Accounting or Finance with significant transaction experience
The strongest candidates will have demonstrated experience executing transactions and the ability to independently manage multiple deals and work streams. Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills are important, along with a solid understanding of accounting and transaction fundamentals.
This role also requires someone who can operate effectively beyond the numbers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with founders and business owners, presenting recommendations to senior executives, coordinating cross-functional teams and exercising sound judgment when navigating complex or sensitive transaction issues.
We are looking for a relationship-oriented, intellectually curious and highly accountable leader who combines analytical rigor with strong business judgment. This individual should take initiative, communicate clearly, follow through on commitments and thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
The position is based in Grand Rapids or Traverse City, Michigan, with flexibility in work arrangements and some travel expected. Regular in-person interaction with senior leadership and the broader corporate development team will be an important part of the role.
This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced M&A professional looking for greater deal ownership, direct senior leadership exposure and the ability to help shape the acquisition strategy of a growing national organization.
