Scope of WorkAssists a licensed physical therapist in implementing and progressing patients through an established treatment plan. Provides treatment under supervision, collaborates in determining methods and media, assists with reassessments, documents all treatment according to laws and regulations, submits charges, maintains communication with the treatment team, and participates in non‑patient care activities such as education, outreach, marketing and quality improvement.
Reaches productivity goals and documents treatment plans under PT supervision.
Communicates patient observations and participates in team goal‑setting and discharge planning.

Education / Training- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- None required
- Michigan licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
- BLS certification required
