- Identify applicable Health & Safety regulations & risks while interacting with cross functional teams
- Provide leadership to the company with Process Safety Management programs. procedures, trainings etc.
- Investigate & analyze near misses, accidents, injuries & incident trends, and assist in the root cause analysis process
- Participate in the company s health & safety audits
- Work with outside vendors to manage cost & inventory
- Coach & develop others to ensure organizational success, identify talent and provide opportunities to learn & grow
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in safety, occupational health, public health industrial hygiene or another safety related field
- 5 years of experience leading safety teams
- Demonstrated experience in the application of Health & Safety Management systems
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
- Tech Savvy:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office skills, safety systems, Adobe, cloud ERP programs like Oracle and safety systems - Certifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), First Aid/CPR - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
