About The Practice. Our Diabetes and Endocrinology practice works with a dedicated team of physicians, advanced practice providers and certified diabetic educators. MAs in our space will provide both clinical and clerical support to patients, providers and other members of the patient care team, by performing a variety of tasks that support the delivery of high-quality patient care. Our physicians and APPs work both in clinic and in the hospital as well as in tandem with our Diabetes Education program.
Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) in the education department, work in regional spaces to provide care and education to our patients closer to home and virtually. We foster a warm, inviting culture with strong teamwork to support exceptional care and positive patient experiences every day.
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicates observations to members of the health care team.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
