Neuro Rehabilitation Technician

The Home & Community Rehabilitation Technician supports individuals with neurological conditions in private residential and community settings. This role focuses on promoting independence, safety, and quality of life through structured rehabilitation activities, daily living support, and community integration. The technician works under the direction of licensed therapists and clinical staff to implement individualized neurorehabilitation care plans.

• 2nd shift 3-11PM
• Monday-Friday

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Implement individualized neurorehabilitation programs designed by physical, occupational, speech, or behavioral therapists.
• Support cognitive, behavioral, and physical rehabilitation exercises.
• Reinforce therapy goals in home and community environments.

• Observe and document client progress, behaviors, and functional changes.
• Report concerns or changes in conditions to supervising clinicians.
• Maintain accurate daily notes and follow care plan documentation standards.

• Ensure a safe, clean, and structured living environment.
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with transfers and mobility.

• Health care experience is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
