The Physician Liaison is a key member of the business development and marketing team, responsible for fostering and maintaining positive relationships with referring physicians, medical practices, and other healthcare stakeholders. Promoting BAMF services, facilitating communication, and identifying opportunities for collaboration to enhance patient care and drive growth within the organization.
** Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
**** Relationship Building:
*** Cultivate and strengthen trust-based relationships with referring physicians, specialists, and key opinion leaders in the medical community through regular outreach visits, meetings, and networking, introducing services, addressing provider needs, and gathering feedback to enhance programs and processes.
** Education and Promotion:
*** Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our organization's capabilities, clinical expertise, and specialized services, effectively communicating the value proposition to referring providers and their staff.
* Develop and distribute educational materials, presentations, and promotional collateral highlighting our medical specialties, technology offerings, and outcomes data.
** Referral Management:
*** Act as a liaison between referring physicians and our clinical teams, facilitating timely referrals, consultations, and patient transfers as needed.
* Track referral patterns, volume trends, and patient outcomes to identify opportunities for improving access, efficiency, and coordination of care.
* Drive growth in provider referrals and program participation by increasing community provider-ordered advanced imaging (PET/CT, PET/MR, CT, MR), expanding referrals to Radiopharmaceutical Therapy and Alzheimer’s Disease clinics, and boosting enrollment in BAMF Health clinical trials through targeted provider education.
** Market Analysis and Outreach:
*** Research and analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends in healthcare delivery to identify potential referral sources and strategic partnership opportunities.
* Develop and execute targeted marketing and outreach strategies to expand the physician network, increase brand awareness, and drive patient volume, including but not limited to organizing and participating in trade shows, hosted meals, and other promotional events.
** Communication and
Collaboration:
*** Coordinate and collaborate across internal departments and external healthcare partners including marketing, operations, clinical leadership, and affiliated physician liaison teams to align outreach with organizational priorities, support seamless transitions of care, and enhance the overall patient experience.
** Performance Tracking and Reporting:
*** Maintain comprehensive CRM documentation and performance reporting by tracking physician interactions, referral activity, and business development efforts, and producing regular reports and analytics to evaluate outreach effectiveness, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement.

* Basic Qualifications:
*** Bachelor's degree in nursing, business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field required
* Previous experience in healthcare sales, business development, or physician relations required
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and building successful partnerships required
* Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare industry trends, and regulatory compliance requirements required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software platforms required
