A Day inthe Life

A Systems Analyst works under generalsupervisionhaving an overall broad depth of hospital and information systems technology. A person in this position can conduct a business requirement reviews, includes business and user needs, documents requirements, formulates business requirements, generates systems scope and objectives for moderately complex information systems, may make suggestions for workflow and process improvements, may modify, test and implement 3rdparty software or create simple programmatic/scripted solutions, may lead small to mid-size teams on small to mid-size projects (40-80hrs) involving less-complex systems with low integration.

Fully documents requirements, testing, code/script,processes and workflow. A Systems Analyst in this position is expected to guide and advise Associate Systems Analysts.

What’s Required

• Bachelors Degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis)
• Or 2-year Associates Degree with 2 years if relevant experience (IS/Business/ or Healthcare)
• Or High school Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Information Systems (IS) and in healthcare
