Behavioral Health Tech Pediatrics

Corewell Health - 100 Michigan Street Northeast - Responsibilities:
Provide and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient requiring direct observation;
Collaborate with the Nurse, Behavioral Health team, MSW, and Medical Team to upload the established behavioral plan for the patient;
The BHT is trained in verbal de-escalation and situational awareness;
Provide education on the variety of patient populations encountered;
Cross-trained to a limited scope of the Nursing Technician role to learn the skills and tasks of daily patient care and ADLs
