Position Overview

We are seeking a professional Banquet Server to join our catering and events team. This role demands excellent customer service skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic event environments. The ideal candidate will assist in providing attentive service to guests at weddings, corporate gatherings, and other social functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive service to guests, including serving meals and beverages, and ensuring guest needs are met with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Prepare event spaces for gatherings by setting up tables, arranging decorations, and organizing seating as per event plans.
  • Manage the cleanliness of event areas before, during, and after functions, including table clearing and area tidying.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of events, address guest concerns swiftly, and adjust service according to guest feedback.
  • Handle banquet equipment safely and proficiently, ensuring proper setup and breakdown of event materials.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a history of providing exceptional service in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Experience with banquet service equipment and understanding of event service requirements.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as dictated by event schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team-oriented approach, with proven ability to work collaboratively.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, capable of addressing issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of event presentation and cleanliness.
