Who You Are

We are currently looking to add a Human Resources Manager to join our team. Reporting to the VP of HR, this role will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing our HR team members while ensuring excellence in our HR operations including employee experience, performance management, and compliance.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will be able to jump in and start making an immediate impact. Specifically, you’ll:

  • First and foremost, resonate with our guiding principles and mission as an organization.
  • Utilize your background in mid‑sized, manufacturing organizations along with your bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (HRCI or SHRM certification a plus!) and 5+ years of progressive experience to lead the HR team and its operations.
  • Lead our employee relations and internal communication efforts by ensuring fair, consistent, and timely investigations, coach leaders on strong communication and documentation, and help to strengthen communication across shifts to ensure clarity and connection.
  • Provide oversight for full‑cycle recruiting, administration of assessments, and support initiatives that drive our belonging, recognition, and retention efforts to identify employee needs, and create meaningful engagement opportunities.
  • Oversee the optimization of the HRIS system to ensure proper HR metric visibility and record keeping.
  • Assist the HR team in ensuring accuracy within payroll and benefits administration, leave management, and serve as the liaison for safety and workers’ compensation functions.
  • Partner with the VP of HR to build a culture of development for employees and foster a strong employee experience by empowering our people to grow and build their careers and skills to their fullest potential.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure company compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training. Remain current with changes in human resource and employment law and manage company relationships with state and local regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to other leaders within the organization to lead, coach, advise and mediate employee relations situations and review corrective actions and performance documentation to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Foster and enhance our justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts and outcomes by embedding equitable practices in hiring, development, and engagement. Bi‑lingual (Spanish‑speaking) candidates encouraged to apply.
