Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior HR Generalist to serve as a strategic and hands‑on partner within their high‑performance manufacturing environment. This role is instrumental in building an engaged workforce and a resilient culture, while ensuring best‑in‑class HR operations and legal compliance.
As the bridge between people and process, the ideal candidate will bring a mix of tactical HR expertise and strategic thinking to enhance workforce performance, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance. Projects You’ll Work On- Build Culture & Boost Engagement: Champion initiatives that enhance workplace culture through structured recognition programs, engagement surveys, and continuous improvement feedback loops.
- Drive Talent Strategy: Lead full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies while maintaining a proactive approach to staying union‑free or fostering positive labor relations.
- Performance & Succession Planning: Implement performance management systems and identify talent pipelines to support internal development and future leadership needs.
- Enhance Employer Branding: Represent the facility through community outreach, charitable contributions, and recruitment marketing efforts to elevate the employer brand.
- Ensure Training & Compliance: Oversee policy development and training to ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal employment laws and audit readiness.
- Optimize HR Ops & Benefits: Manage employee benefits programs, payroll systems, and timekeeping functions to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
- Use Data for Impact: Analyze HR KPIs to identify workforce trends and opportunities for improvement across retention, productivity, and engagement.
- HR Expertise in Manufacturing: 3–5+ years in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role, ideally in manufacturing or food production environments.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is required; MBA is a plus.
- Bilingual Advantage: Spanish language proficiency preferred to support a diverse workforce.
- Tech‑Savvy HR: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems like Dayforce is a strong plus.
- People Leadership: Proven ability to coach, guide, and influence employees across all levels—from the production floor to senior leadership.
- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret workforce data and use insights to support decision‑making.
- No Sponsorship Available: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
