Talent Manager
Warner Norcross + Judd is seeking a Staff Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in Grand Rapids
. This role supports the Firm's Human Resources by overseeing the recruitment of new administrative staff and ensuring seamless onboarding and integration of new firm members. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and people-focused and is committed to providing consistent, high-quality experiences for candidates, internal hiring managers, and new firm members.
- Collaborate with leadership across departments and administrative teams to assess staffing needs and implement consistent, effective hiring practices.
- Execute the full-cycle recruitment process for the Firm's administrative roles, including job requisition, candid sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, onboarding and pipeline management.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert and point person for talent acquisition policies, processes, and practices.
- Champion a positive experience for all stakeholders in the hiring process by ensuring equitable and inclusive practices, clear and timely communication, and consistency across all stages.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring teams, coaching them on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and best practices for selection.
- Partner with Marketing to promote the Firm as an employer of choice, enhancing visibility through social media, professional networks, and industry associations.
- Proactively build relationships with local schools and professional organizations to support pipeline development for administrative roles.
- Utilize HR systems and recruitment technologies such as HRIS and ATS to streamline the hiring and integration processes, track activity, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Generate and analyze reports on recruitment and retention metrics, performance trends, and training outcomes to identify gaps, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure talent acquisition and onboarding practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws as well as Firm policies, while integrating best practices in DEI and belonging.
- Maintain organized, accessible records related to recruitment, onboarding, and integration activities in accordance with internal policies and external requirements.
- Stay informed on trends in talent acquisition, onboarding, integration, and retention to recommend and implement process enhancements.
- Collaborate with HR team on initiatives including process improvement, employee engagement, integration, and retention.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive integration process for new firm members.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

The physical demands of this potion are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday, having the ability to transport 25 pounds and being able to operate a computer and other business equipment found in the office.

- Five years of previous experience in talent acquisition or recruiting
- Additional HR experience, specifically in areas such as compliance, employment law, compensation, and benefits a plus
