Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data/Software Engineer with a strong focus on data engineering and marketing platform integration.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure data services, Python, and Databricks, along with a solid understanding of digital marketing platforms such as Google Marketing Platform (DV360, CM360, GAM
360), The Trade Desk, and social media platforms like Facebook and Pinterest.

This role requires a hybrid work schedule (Monday–Wednesday onsite in Grand Rapids, MI).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data movement pipelines, dashboards, and analytical assets using Azure technologies.
• Build data ingestion and extraction processes for marketing platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce MCI, The Trade Desk, and ADvendio.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, ADLS Gen2, and GCP Big Query.
• Perform configuration and administration of marketing platforms to support data integration and analytics.
• Gather and implement functional and non-functional requirements, including performance monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, testing, and delivery.
• Ensure secure development and deployment practices in collaboration with security and infrastructure teams.
• Interface with product managers and IT partners to define and estimate features for agile teams.

• 6+ years of experience in business application design, development, and implementation.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Azure data engineering tools.
• Strong experience with Python and Databricks.
• Proven experience designing data pipelines and implementing data ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure services:
  Data Factory, Log Analytics, Synapse, Power BI, ADLS Gen
  2.
• Experience with CI/CD, data governance, security, and compliance in Azure.
• Working knowledge of marketing platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce MCI, The Trade Desk, and ADvendio.
• Experience with marketing domain data ingestion and analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

• Experience with Power BI, data modeling, and reporting.
• Knowledge of API architecture in Azure.
• SAFe certification or Agile training.
• Experience with multiple technical environments and configurations.
• Familiarity with fault injection, observability, and resiliency testing.
