Digital Solutions Specialist

Responsible for the installation, integration, and maintenance of Digital Solution products including integration to a production machine

• Develop and maintain expert status in one or more software solutions required for proper machine integrations
• Create, execute, and maintain seamless integration between suppliers of software, computer hardware, and machines
• Support customers, bringing problems and questions to fast and efficient resolution, and if necessary, travel onsite to bring resolutions to problems
• Troubleshoot problems/issues for customers and onsite integrators, resolve Software Integration and vendor support issues
• Perform onsite software integrations and installations
• Train, document, mentor, and advise new and existing employees on software integration products, services, and practices
• Document installation, integration, and support process
• Assist with the educational aspect of software and software integration for customers as well as other team members
• Train customers (remotely or onsite) to a competent level in Digital Solutions products
• Administer pre-requisite material to customer in keeping with seamless integration process
• Work with development teams to resolve current issues and plan for future software development
• Assist with product training, machinery demonstrations, and development of Help Files and Software Documentation (creation and maintenance)
• Act as a direct liaison to software suppliers to resolve technical issues and address development concerns
• Coordinate and participate in demonstrations to enhance machine and systems sales
• Work with Stiles education BU to create and maintain educational material and respective digital solutions
• Other duties assigned

• College and/or Technical Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Software Engineering/Programming/Development preferred
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Basic computer programming skills
• Previous professional experience in the software, woodworking, or a related field preferred
• Experience with CAD/CAM solutions preferred
• Willingness to travel domestically / internationally
