Senior Windows & VMware Infrastructure Engineer – NSX / SRM / UCS

If you are a senior infrastructure engineer who enjoys owning complex enterprise environments across Windows Server, VMware, networking, storage, physical servers, and IT operations, this role is built for you.

This position is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, highly technical, and comfortable supporting both day‑to‑day infrastructure operations and major infrastructure projects. You will work across VMware ESXi/vCenter, NSX/NSX‑T, Site Recovery Manager, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, storage, patching, vulnerability remediation, physical server hardware, and ITIL‑based support processes.

This is not a basic server administration role. The right candidate will bring deep infrastructure troubleshooting experience, strong ownership, and the ability to support upgrades, migrations, root cause analysis, documentation, and cross‑functional project delivery in a large enterprise environment.

What You Will Do
  • Implement, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and vCenter environments
  • Support VMware NSX/NSX‑T networking environments, including network troubleshooting and infrastructure support
  • Manage and support VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
  • Provide architectural and operational support across VMware, Windows Server, security, networking, and infrastructure layers
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues across Windows Server and VMware environments
  • Perform root cause analysis for server, virtualization, network, hardware, and application‑impacting issues
  • Troubleshoot and upgrade UCS, ESXi, Dell, HP, and Lenovo physical server environments
  • Support hardware‑level troubleshooting including boot issues, blue screens, RAID controller faults, firmware issues, iLO, XClarity, and iDRAC
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server services
  • Support SAN/NAS storage environments and related infrastructure dependencies
  • Manage print services including printer mapping, printer ports, print queues, and enterprise print troubleshooting
  • Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, and SCCM‑related systems management activities
  • Create scripts or execute remote commands using Power Shell or similar tools
  • Work within Service Now or similar ITSM tools to support incident, change, problem, and request processes
  • Participate in major infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technical implementation efforts
  • Create and maintain documentation including system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, topology diagrams, and upgrade plans
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, application, storage, and operations teams to ensure stable and secure enterprise systems
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership when needed
Required Experience
  • Strong hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012, and legacy server environments
  • Strong VMware experience, including ESXi, vCenter Server, SRM, VSAN, and NSX/NSX‑T
  • Experience supporting VMware infrastructure implementation, administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance resolution
  • Hands‑on experience troubleshooting UCS, ESXi, Dell, HP, and Lenovo server environments
  • Experience with iLO, XClarity, iDRAC, RAID controllers, firmware upgrades, server boot issues, blue screens, and hardware failures
  • Experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and core Windows infrastructure services
  • Experience supporting SAN and NAS storage environments
  • Experience with SCCM, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing principles, firewall rules, DNS, packet loss, and latency troubleshooting
  • Experience creating scripts or executing remote commands using Power Shell or similar tools
  • Experience working in Service Now or a similar IT service management platform
  • Strong understanding of ITIL‑based incident, change, and problem management processes
  • Experience supporting major projects, upgrades, migrations, and enterprise infrastructure initiatives
  • Strong documentation, communication, ownership, and root cause analysis…
