IAM Engineer

Location:

Grand Rapid, MI (Remote) Locals First Preference Secondary can be in any of these states, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin. This is a remote role but the client first preference is someone who can work onsite in a hybrid work schedule like 2-3 days onsite and couple of days remote can be offered. Duration: 6 months with possible extension.

Job Description:

Skills:

• Background of identity governance tools like One Identity, SailPoint.
• Understanding of general Identity and Access Management and IT Security principles.
• Functional knowledge of Active Directory Users and Groups.
• Basic SQL & Power Shell skills.
• Excellent at problem solving and follow up.
• RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC are implemented.
• Nice to have:.Net, API based integration.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other teams, vendors, and service providers to implement best practices with identity governance.
• Proactively identify gaps in the system and brainstorm potential solutions.
• Review incident tickets and work orders, follow up with users to ensure addressing their concerns in a timely manner.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Manager Notes:

HM is not looking for specific years of experience, he is focused on technical aptitude! HM is looking for at least 1 strong technical candidate and one median technical candidate with managerial experience. He is flexible on the two candidates. The HM needs the candidates to be able to identify abnormalities in security-based systems. Ask the questions to the actual developers etc.
