Senior Program Leader - Enterprise Delivery Leader with SAFe RTE Experience Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer who can lead execution of large-scale Agile programs across multiple teams, stakeholders, and business functions. This individual will be responsible for driving program outcomes, managing complex dependencies, identifying risks before they impact delivery, and communicating effectively with leadership, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.

This is not a ceremony-focused Agile role. Success in this position requires strong program leadership, execution discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence outcomes across a highly visible enterprise initiative.

• Leads and drives execution across 10+ Agile teams
• Owns program-level delivery outcomes
• Identifies delivery risks and dependency issues before they become critical
• Communicates effectively with executives, business stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams
• Facilitates alignment across multiple work streams and competing priorities
• Creates transparency around delivery health, risks, dependencies, and readiness
• Builds credibility and trust with leadership while maintaining accountability across the train

Program Execution

• Drive execution and delivery of program objectives across a large Agile Release Train
• Ensure teams remain aligned to business priorities and PI objectives
• Manage program-level dependencies, risks, constraints, and escalations
• Identify leading indicators of delivery issues and proactively address them
• Lead PI Planning preparation and execution
• Facilitate ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, and program-level planning activities
• Ensure readiness of features, dependencies, capacity, and stakeholder alignment prior to PI events
• Drive commitment accountability throughout PI execution
• Maintain visibility into cross-team and cross-organizational dependencies
• Partner with architecture, infrastructure, security, business, and shared services teams to remove blockers

• Communicate delivery health, risks, forecasts, and recommendations to leadership
• Translate technical and delivery challenges into business impacts
• Facilitate difficult conversations around scope, priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs

Required

• 5+ years as a Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar enterprise delivery role
• Experience leading Agile Release Trains consisting of 8+ teams
• Deep experience facilitating PI Planning and ART execution
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale dependencies and delivery risks
• Experience operating in SAFe Agile environments

• Experience leading multiple ARTs or Solution Trains
• Retail, grocery, supply chain, logistics, or customer-facing operational platform experience
• Experience coaching Scrum Masters and Agile teams
• Experience supporting Agile transformations
