Prophet Technical​/Functional Specialist

Our client (a stable, growth-oriented organization with a strong operational foundation) is seeking an experienced ERP Systems & Applications Specialist to play a key role in supporting and evolving their enterprise technology environment.

• Support and optimize daily operations within a customized Prophet 21 (P21) environment.
• Maintain ERP workflows, business rules, integrations, and operational reporting.
• Partner with business users to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support ongoing initiatives.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal technology and ERP-related requests.

• Design, maintain, and enhance reports using SSRS and SQL-based tools.
• Develop and support business applications and integrations using C#, .NET, Python, APIs, and automation tools

• Build and maintain scripts and processes that improve operational efficiency.
• Support projects involving REST APIs and enterprise application connectivity.

• Support Microsoft technologies including Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools
  .
• Assist with hardware/software standards, user provisioning, and workstation deployments.
• Monitor and maintain network and system reliability across the business environment.
• Support best practices around configuration, documentation, governance, and system performance.

• Hands‑on experience supporting Epicor Prophet 21 (P21 Web / On‑Premise) environments.
• 3+ years of experience with C#, .NET technologies (ASP.NET, MVC, WCF).
• Strong SQL Server experience including T‑SQL, SSMS, and reporting development

• Experience with SSRS, business rules, and ERP reporting environments
  .
• 5+ years supporting:
  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Endpoint and systems administration
• Experience with Power Shell and/or Python automation
  .
• Strong project ownership, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience supporting customized ERP environments.
• Exposure to cloud transformation initiatives and hybrid enterprise architecture.
• Familiarity with help desk platforms and IT service management tools.
• Experience supporting organizations with approximately 50–100 users.
• Understanding of ERP operations, business process optimization, and enterprise scalability.

• Base salary budget: $100,000 to $110,000
