IT Help Desk Internship

Classification: Fulltime Summer Internship

Work Location: 601 First Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

Interns will work on real IT projects across multiple markets, gaining hands‑on experience and valuable training in equipment setup, user provisioning, and end‑user support.

• Prepare and deploy laptops, iPads, and mobile devices.
• Provision user accounts and access across various SaaS applications.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory records for issued and returned equipment.
• Document existing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Assist the Help Desk team by responding to and resolving end‑user support tickets as needed.

• Junior or senior pursuing an Information Technology degree or a related field of study.
• Basic knowledge of computers, troubleshooting, and repair preferred.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong desire to learn, professional drive, and reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Team spirit and a genuine appreciation for collaboration with colleagues.
