Job Description:

The role will provide L2/L3 production support, monitoring, administration, and incident resolution for MES applications built on the PTC/Velotic Thing Worx platform, including CWC, AMU, and RTPPM. The position requires strong shop-floor application support, ITSM discipline, and coordination across IT, OT, business, and vendor teams.

Your Role:

• Provide L2/L3 support for MES and shop-floor applications, including triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and closure of incidents.
• Manage incident and major incident processes using ITIL-aligned ITSM practices and Service Now or equivalent tools.
• Monitor Thing Worx integrations with Oracle EBS, TIPQA, Web Methods, and AWS Redshift Data Lakes.
• Maintain industrial connectivity and data flow using Kepware, MTConnect, OPC-UA, and related OT communication layers.
• Perform system health checks, log reviews, patching coordination, planned outage support, and QA/production upgrade support.
• Support root cause analysis, knowledge documentation, runbooks, and continuous service improvement.

Your

Skills and Experience:

• Experience supporting MES applications in manufacturing or regulated production environments.
• Hands-on experience with PTC Thing Worx / Velotic Thing Worx and shop-floor systems.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server troubleshooting and data validation skills.
• Knowledge of SSO, SSL certificates, secure application connectivity, and OT networking.
• Experience with Service Now, ITSM processes, incident management, problem management, change management, SLA tracking, and ITIL support standards.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $70,000 to $150,000 / year.

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
