AI and Business Systems Intern

Position: AI and Business Systems Intern - Spring 2027
This position is expected to work 20 hours/week, running 1/11 through 4/23 The AI and Business Systems Intern will support the Business Systems team by building AI tools and documenting business processes.

This role offers hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, process improvement, and the systems that support a manufacturing company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, build, and test 1-2 Microsoft Copilot agents that help employees work more efficiently Meet with employees across departments to understand their needs and gather requirements for agent development Map current business processes for open Business Systems projects, documenting each step, handoff, and system involved Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes Create clear process maps, flowcharts, and supporting documentation Assist with testing new systems and features to confirm they work as intended Explain technical concepts in plain language to non-technical team members Present project progress and final results to the Business Systems team and Leadership Coordinate other projects as assigned by the Business Systems Manager

Job Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Interest in AI tools and how they can improve the way people work Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and comfortable learning new tools independently About our Company Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is an industry leader in providing high-reliability electronic systems for Aerospace and Defense companies across the globe.
