- Administrative Support
:
The employee holding this position will actively participate in department and company meetings as necessary. The employee will work with leadership to improve firm operations and ensure consistency of work across the firm. - Case Management
:
Manage a caseload of approximately 35, prepare legal documents, and ensure compliance with court procedures. - Client Communication
:
Communicate effectively with clients, explaining legal options and guiding them through the legal process. - Continuous Learning
:
Stay updated on changes in family law, attend legal seminars, and enhance legal knowledge. - Community Engagement
:
This role is expected to engage with the community for firm and professional growth. Involvement with local Boards, 501(c)3’s, and Family Legal Council are all examples, as are public appearances/speaking engagements, and professional writing for academic/educational purposes. - Court Appearances
:
Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings. - Ethical Practice
:
Uphold professional ethics, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to legal standards. - Legal Representation
:
Provide high quality legal counsel and representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. - Legal Strategy
:
Develop effective legal strategies based on individual cases and client needs. - Mentorship and Firm Leadership

:
Conduct legal research, analyze statutes, case law, and regulations to build strong arguments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are used to measure the effectiveness and success of various tasks and duties within an organization. Success indicators for this position may change at the discretion of the organization, but include and are not limited to:
- Generating a minimum of 7 – 7.5 hours of billable work per day (1,680 – 1,800 hours per year)
- 95% success contemporaneously documenting all work
- Maintenance of superior customer satisfaction scores
- Maintenance of an average case value commensurate with company/industry standards

This role operates in a professional office environment. Employees will work indoors using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
The position is largely sedentary, involving tasks performed while sitting. Some filing activities are required. Specific physical requirements include:
- Close visual acuity for tasks like preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer screen, and extensive reading.
