- $80,000–$120,000+ annual earnings (base + bonuses) with clear paths to exceed the $120,000 earnings early on in your career based on performance. We expect our attorneys to earn $100,000+ in their second year with the firm, even when they are recent law school graduates.

- Participation in a robust training program for courtroom skills, client management, and family law practice.

- Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, support, post-judgment issues, grand parenting rights, and appellate work.
- Handle your own full caseload and manage client relationships with empathy and strategy.
- Appear regularly in court; attend mediations and depositions, and take ownership of litigation from day one (with mentorship and support as needed).
- We take cases to trial, and you should be willing to do so.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal arguments at a high level.
- Some of our attorneys handle appellate work, and we have an option for a position to grow into a full-time appellate position.
- Minimum: 110 billable hours per month (1,300–1,400 annually) with bonus tiers for performance. If you want to earn more and work more, that's an option.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in family law litigation.

- A licensed Michigan attorney (or you will be taking the upcoming bar exam).
- A strong writer and persuasive speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with the grit to advocate for clients during court hearings and negotiations. You must exhibit tenacity to engage in Bold Battles.
- Empathy to help clients through difficult times, but also be able and willing to share Blunt Truths with clients.
