As a Buyer I at Irwin, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials to support production operations. You will be responsible for managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, creating and tracking purchase orders, optimizing inventory levels, and nurturing relationships with suppliers. Your proactive communication skills will be essential in collaborating with cross-functional teams to address potential issues and find solutions.

- MRP Management: Efficiently manage the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials.
- Purchase Order Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Purchased Inventory: Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
- Proactive Communication: Engage in proactive communication with cross-functional teams to address potential issues and find solutions collaboratively.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is a plus.

CompensationThe base salary range for this full-time position is $64,000 - $74,000 . Within this range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to: relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and complexity of the role.
