Job Summary

Do you excel in leadership and have a keen interest in logistics and team growth? We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to elevate our warehouse operations. If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact, then join our team! As the Warehouse Manager you will oversee all warehouse operations. This position involves managing warehouse associates and/or drivers within our branch while delivering optimal efficiency and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership:
    Cultivate a winning culture by leading and working alongside the warehouse team through proper training, creating a team mentality with a focus on safety, and coaching and mentoring associates.
  • Hiring:
    Interview and hire candidates for various warehouse positions, assessing and selecting qualified team‑oriented associates.
  • Employee Training & Development:
    Oversee the initial and ongoing training of all warehouse associates ensuring they meet qualification standards. Conduct performance evaluations and manage personnel issues to maintain a motivated and efficient team focusing on increasing revenue and decreasing costs.
  • Warehouse Operations:
    Inspect facilities, grounds, and equipment, identifying and arranging repairs and suggesting replacements. Manage property control, including inventory levels of warehouse materials including purchasing supplies, tools, and PPE for associates.
  • Safety Audits:
    Conduct quarterly audits and participate in daily safety expectations.
  • Inventory Control:
    Participate in and oversee routine cycle counting program, inventory discrepancies research, returns, damage adjustments, SOP and procedural understanding and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Logistics Management:
    Oversee transportation logistics, including delivery scheduling, route planning, and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Focused:
    Lead customer returns process, validating accuracy of those returns through collaboration with team members. Perform timely corrective actions through involvement in any customer delivery issues and investigations.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare reports on operations, inventory, associate metrics, and financial matters for management.
Experience Needed
  • Management:
    Understanding and proven experience of warehouse management including leading a team, material handling, shipping/receiving, and logistics. Skill in planning and organizing in anticipation of future events and contingencies. Ability to train and develop associates while driving a positive culture.
  • Effective Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting information to associates, management, customers, and vendors.
  • Problem‑Solving:
    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide innovative solutions. Experience in enhancing processes to improve overall performance and productivity.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    Proficiency working within ERPs and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience Preferred
  • Five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience of associates in a warehouse environment.
  • PIT/Forklift operation, understanding of OSHA, SDS & DOT.
