Position Summary
The Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service will lead all ticketing-related revenue generation and retention efforts for AC Grand Rapids as the club builds toward its inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season in 2027. This executive will oversee the full ticketing business—strategy, forecasting, product development, sales execution, service/retention, premium seating, and fan experience. This role will design and execute the long-term revenue plan for tickets, build a high-performance sales & service culture, implement modern sales technologies, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across marketing, business operations, partnerships, and community engagement.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Build and execute ACGR’s ticketing revenue strategy across all seating products.
- Develop pricing architecture, product innovation, and inventory strategies.
- Research, identify, and cultivate new business/prospect opportunities for the ticketing department and club.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting for ticketing.
- Analyze sales performance and market trends to optimize strategy.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the ticket sales & service department, establishing a high-performance culture.
- Implement training, development, compensation plan, and KPI structures for staff.
- Ensure team meets or exceeds sales and service KPIs.
- Oversee CRM strategy, data integrity, and analytics.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Community departments.
- Represent the department during matchday operations and events.
- Develop multi-year ticketing pipeline.
- Support integration with DP Fox, VA Enterprises, MLS NEXT Pro, and league partners.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
- At least seven years of ticket sales leadership experience in professional sports.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership experience developing high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of ticketing revenue strategy and CRM systems.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced expansion environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
