* Key Responsibilities:

*** Assemble, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical, vacuum, and precision mechanical and optical assemblies.
* Identify, document, and escalate build issues, deviations, or nonconformances.
* Troubleshoot and repair returned components.
* Collaborate with instrumentation and engineering teams to improve build processes and manufacturability.
* Support prototype, pilot, and low-volume production builds.
* Maintain accurate build records, test results, and documentation in accordance with quality systems.
* Maintain clean lab work stations in accordance with 5S
* Follow safety procedures and cleanroom protocols where applicable.
* Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Department Manager.

* Familiarity with micrometers, calipers and other measurement equipment

* Required Qualifications:

*** High school education or equivalent.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
* Hands-on experience with precision tools, fixtures, and measurement equipment.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Associate’s degree or technical certification in engineering technology, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience assembling analytical, semiconductor, optical, or vacuum-based equipment.
* Familiarity with cleanroom practices and contamination control.
* Experience supporting prototype or R&D manufacturing environments.
