! Our client is growing and adding skilled CNC Machinists to their team!

This is a direct hire CNC Machinist (Vertical Machining Center) position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

• Set up, program, and operate Haas and Hurco Vertical Machining Centers to fabricate components.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD files to accurately prepare for machining tasks.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, verifying adherence to tight tolerances and specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections and flag any substandard materials or inconsistencies in production.
• Complete routine equipment upkeep, including preventive maintenance, coolant replacements, and filter servicing.
• Keep the workspace organized and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards during all production processes.

• 3-5 years’ experience setting up and programming VMCs, including proficiency with Haas machines and g-code; familiarity with Hurco controls is advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with trade training preferred.
• Skilled in producing precision metal components, routinely maintaining tolerances as close as 0.0005 inch.
• Solid foundation in basic mathematics for accurate machining calculations.
• Capable of handling up to 50 lbs. and working on your feet for the length of the shift
