CNC Maintenance & Programming Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Maintenance and Programmer to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance of our CNC machinery while also developing and optimizing programs for efficient production. • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure peak performance.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to meet production specifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Conduct inspections and tests on machinery to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of machine performance.
• Train and support team members on CNC programming and maintenance best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest CNC technologies and industry trends.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming or maintenance preferred.
• Experience with aluminum castings and high volume production is preferred.
• Proven experience in CNC programming and machine maintenance.
• Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tools, and programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
